Organic farming is implemented in the vineyard and the property has been carefully built in 2013 using valuable materials reclaimed from different sites in Spain. Its ecological design has very wide exterior walls and air chambers to insulate against extreme temperatures.

The windows are double glazed, which filters solar radiation. The energy supply comes from the electricity grid and solar panels. It has electric underfloor heating and solar water heating.

All the comfort and convenience have been designed with sustainability and care for the environment in mind. Historic materials from several places in Spain have been recovered and used and the authentic character of the buildings in the area has been respected.
